What Happens When We Choose “Leaders” Based on Minority Status over Meritocratic Skillsets?

DEI protruded its discriminatory head years before “President” Joe Biden signed the Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government in January 2021. But after that, DEI went into full-scale, super-turbo-charged-destruction mode.

The Civil Rights Act and 14th Amendment already protect Americans from any discrimination. The 14^th Amendment states, “…No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Anything after that is superfluous and unnecessary.

Here are a few of the Federal Faces of DEI:

Admiral Rachel Levine, MD is the Assistant Secretary for Health and heads the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Levine is in charge of America’s health, including mental health.  

From NBC News on June 26, 2017: “Dr. Rachel Levine is a rarity in politics: Her appointment as the Pennsylvania Physician General, the state's top doc, was unanimously unopposed by both parties in the state senate.  Oh, and she happens to be transgender.”

So, is that the reason that she qualifies for Assistant Secretary? Yes, in fact, Levine is an expert in advocating transgender affirming “care” for minor children, who do not have the legal capacity to choose whether they want to be a patient for life.  Levine is an expert, as the MSM reminds us in articles like, Levine and the "experts" explain transgender affirming care for children and the dangers of “misinformation” against it.

That means that Levine is an expert in advocating child abuse. Gender affirming “care” for minor children is child abuse. How will this work out for those young, confused Americans figuring out this complex world of BS drilled in their young minds? Levine’s fingerprints appear all over this White House Fact Sheet to reinforce federal "protections" for transgender kids.

Levine should be old enough to have figured out that the Universe (aka God) does not make mistakes; rather, it is people who make mistakes. Then again, why not have a mentally ill person oversee Public Health? Takes one to know one, I guess. 

Why do Americans even need “help” from a federal agency for our mental health? Should Trump win, would the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services be delegated to the states so we can dismantle this federal madhouse?

Sam Brinton is the former Deputy Assistant for the Office of Nuclear Energy in the U.S. Department of Energy.

The NY Posts says Sam Brinton, “who uses they/them pronouns, is a nuclear engineer and became one of the federal government’s first gender non-binary senior official when they took on a role in the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy in 2022.”  When reviewing articles about Sam Brinton, the pronouns “they” describe Brinton throughout every article. Come on grammar teachers, will you get in this fight on this confusing language being used today? We are not buying it that “they” is a  singular form and has been used for centuries. It’s confusing and grammatically incorrect! Furthermore, announcing one’s preferred pronouns is announcing what type of sex someone prefers. Ewwww. Who cares?

Sam Brinton made headlines after first lying about stealing a woman’s suitcase in an airport and then backtracked and said it was taken by mistake while on a government funded work trip.

Says the NY Post:

“Surveillance footage showed Brinton allegedly grabbing the luggage from the carousel and removing the ID tag identifying the owner. Brinton was later captured on surveillance using the same suitcase on at least two trips to Washington, DC, according to authorities.”

Usually, someone who becomes a senior official at age 35, as a nuclear engineer, making a good salary, must have an impressive resume. Not so in Sam’s case, he was an activist for – you guessed it – LGBTQ+.

Inquiring minds want to know - how much did taxpayers pay Sam Brinton while he was employed at the Department of Energy? Fox News stated, “Non-binary ex-Biden official Sam Brinton was still paid a hefty six-figure government salary ($178,000.00) while facing a felony charge for stealing airport luggage, an investigation alleges.”

Kimberly Cheatle is the former director of the Secret Service, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

So, what did Cheatle do to get such a high and prestigious position? She worked for the government all her adult life. In the statement from President Biden on the Appointment of Kimberly Cheatle:

“I am proud to announce that I have selected Kim Cheatle to be the next Director of the United States Secret Service. Kim has had a long and distinguished career at the Secret Service, having risen through the ranks during her 27 years with the agency, becoming the first woman in the role of Assistant Director of protective operations.”

After the attempted assassination of President Trump in July 2024, due to her extremely gross negligence and incompetence, Cheatle initially refused to resign. During the Congressional committee hearing investigating her gross negligence, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace suggested Cheatle draft her resignation letter during the hearing, and Cheatle replied with a firm, "No, thank you."

Of course, this was not her first controversy with the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Accountability.  In 2023, whistleblowers alleged the improper handling by Secret Service officers of the Hunter Biden criminal investigation.

When pressed by democrats to resign, she finally did, as CNN told us, “Former Secret Service director assigned security detail amid threats after Trump shooting.”  

How much will that cost the taxpayers? 

Lloyd J. Austin, III is the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense.

On January 22, 2021, the AP news declared, “Austin wins Senate confirmation as 1st Black Pentagon chief.”

Is it a coincidence when looking up the Secretary of Defense website at various times that this message often appears?

The DoD’s About page says, “Lloyd J. Austin III is the 28th secretary of defense, sworn in on Jan. 22, 2021. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., Austin served 41 years in uniform, retiring as a four-star Army general after three years as commander of U.S. Central Command.” That’s impressive, right?

So, what does he do, when he has no public or media events, other than have the unilateral authority to use lethal force against American civilians?  

On September 22, 2022 , the DoD issued this press release: “Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III has appointed General (Ret.) Lester Lyles to serve as the Chair of the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (DACODAI).” Just what the military needs – more DEI.

According to Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont., “Sec. Austin has violated his oath of office time and time again, and has jeopardized the lives of the American people” which led him to introduce H.Res.951 - Impeaching Lloyd James Austin III, Secretary of Defense, for high crimes and misdemeanors in January 2024.

“Sec. Austin knowingly put the American people in danger and compromised our national security when he allowed a spy balloon from a foreign adversary to fly over Malmstrom Air Force Base – home to ICBMs - and allowed the Chinese Communist Party to gather intel on American citizens. Moreover, recent reports show that Sec. Austin lied about the balloon repeatedly, putting the American people in danger.

“This dishonesty seems to be a repeated pattern for the Secretary as he once again lied to our military and the American people about his health last week.

“Furthermore, the Secretary failed to uphold his oath of office during the Biden Administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan which led to the death of 13 American soldiers and enabled unvetted migrants to flow into the United States – including allowing an unvetted migrant to rape a young woman in Missoula.

"Sec. Austin is unfit for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, which is why I urge my colleagues to join me in impeaching him to protect the American people."

How do veterans feel about spending more taxpayer dollars on DEI in the military? The Hill reported pushback in an article titled, “A 2024 resolution for the VA: Scrap ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ ideology.” 

“Regardless of any good intentions involved, the ideology underlying these programs is toxic. It is creating far more problems than it is solving.”

Deanne Criswell is the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

FEMA.gov says: “Ms. Deanne Bennett Criswell was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on April 22, 2021 as the 12th Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Ms. Criswell is the first woman confirmed to serve as the Administrator, where she leads the nation's efforts in helping people before, during, and after disasters.”

Since April 22, 2021, Criswell has repeatedly failed managing FEMA. On April 25, 2022, the Journalist’s Resources wrote, “How they did it: Washington Post reporters reveal FEMA failures, denial of disaster aid to Black families in the South.”

After Hurricane Helene, CBS News stated “FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell said on Sunday that the "historic flooding" in North Carolina from the remnants of Hurricane Helene has gone beyond what anyone could have planned for in the area.” Says FEMA administrator: "I don't know that anybody could be fully prepared for the amount of flooding" from Helene in North Carolina.”

Isn’t planning for disasters what FEMA does?

Although FEMA issued special misinformation alerts  about the “rumors and misunderstandings” spread during FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene, even NBC admitted “some residents say the government was unprepared for the storm.”

“Devonna Brown, an Asheville business owner, said she felt the city failed its residents. “They should have been more prepared. They knew that this storm was coming,” she said. “We’re very frustrated by it. I mean, there’s no way to get in, no way to get out.”

Sara Legatski, another Asheville business owner, said officials should have expressed more urgency and brought in emergency water supplies earlier.”

Alejandro Mayorkas is the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

From NPR on February 2, 2021: “Senate Makes Alejandro Mayorkas First Latino Head Of Homeland Security”

“Alejandro Mayorkas, Cuban-American lawyer, politician and seventh United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) was sworn in on February 2, 2021, and is both the first refugee and first person born in Latin America to hold the position.”

“The approval came on the same day Biden is expected to sign a series of executive actions on immigration, including one to begin to reunite migrant children separated from their parents after crossing the United States border.”

Hello, Obama built the cages and separated families, but as the leftist Los Angelos Times admitted, “Yes, U.S. border officials did separate children from their parents on occasion, but it was not as widespread or systematic as it became under the Trump administration, particularly during its “zero-tolerance policy,” which was meant to deter migrants from seeking refuge in the U.S.”

Remember the zero-tolerance policy that deterred many illegal aliens from 2017 -2020? How many illegal aliens are in America today? We will probably never know the real number.

The Biden/Harris Administration issued its Startling Stats Factsheet recently for Fiscal Year 2024 with “nearly 3 million inadmissible encounters, 10.8 million total encounters.”

This is from the government that tells us the Covid vaccine will prevent Covid. Yeah, right. Who believes this nonsense?

DHS warns Americans of the increase in domestic terrorism.

“In addition to dealing with immigration, the department also faces rising worries of domestic terror. Last week DHS issued a bulletin warning of a continued threat from domestic violent extremists.” 

Domestic terrorists like Scott Smith, the Loudoun County, VA dad who was labeled a “domestic terrorist” when he confronted his teen daughter’s school and school board for lying and covering up that “a boy in a skirt” sodomized his 15-year-old daughter in the girls’ school bathroom. That was not the end of that horrific story, after the boy was removed from Smith’s daughter’s school and placed in another school, the “alleged” rapist sodomized another teen girl in the girls’ bathroom in another school! How is that not child abuse?

Mayorkas is in the headlines frequently. In February this year, CBS said, “House Impeaches Alejandro Mayorkas in historic vote, punishing DHS chief over handling of U.S. Mexican border.”

The NY Post reported “Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas set off outrage Wednesday when he told reporters that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) “does not have the funds” to see Americans through the rest of this Atlantic hurricane season — after the agency spent more than $1.4 billion since the fall of 2022 to address the migrant crisis.”

And, who can forget the creation of the “Disinformation of Truth” in Homeland Security?  Fortunately, the “Ministry of Truth’ did not last too long after public outrage. What else needs to happen before We the People Wake Up that DEI is destroying our country?

Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

On February 2, 2021, the NY Times announced, “Pete Buttigieg Is Confirmed as Biden’s Transportation Secretary.”

“Mr. Buttigieg, 39, became the first openly gay cabinet secretary to have been approved by the Senate and the youngest member of the president’s cabinet.”

By January 2023, left-leaning Axios said, “Historic transportation crises haunt Buttigieg.”

“Buttigieg has in several cases been the victim of circumstances that predated his time in office — such as the ancient computers and infrastructure that appeared to contribute to the FAA disaster.”

Victim? Oh, right. This is DEI land - destructive, expensive and ignorant - where insecure victims are encouraged to guide the President’s policies.

We might expect this from the Washington Examiner, who wrote, “Buttigieg blunders: Three times Pete has crashed as transportation secretary.”

“Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has had a tumultuous two-year tenure, with his handling of the Ohio train derailment being the latest incident under intense scrutiny.

The former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, now faces calls from several people, including Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), to step down amid “serious and persistent problems” at the Department of Transportation. Here is a look at three times Buttigieg has come under fire for his handling of transportation issues.”

The Washington Examiner reported,

“One of the most well-known controversies during Buttigieg’s time as transportation secretary came in October 2021, when it was discovered he had been on paternity leave in the middle of a crisis involving the country’s supply chains.

Buttigieg’s various missteps have led to questions on whether the secretary is a liability for the Biden administration, with further questions about whether his political future is in jeopardy after his tenure.”

But when NY magazine, Intelligencer, asked, Has Pete Buttigieg’s Dream Job Turned Into a Nightmare? maybe we should scratch our collective heads and wonder about the destruction that DEI is leaving behind.

The Independent reported “the catastrophic 3 February derailment of a nearby train carrying toxic chemicals sent a terrifying black cloud into the air as officials burned off the leaked materials. A swiftly escalating political crisis followed, as the Biden administration’s control of the narrative and credibility with the public also went off rails.”

By June 2022, Newsweek read the tea leaves, “How DEI Ideology Undermines National Security.”

Even NPR is getting on board the DEI trainwreck when in September 2024, All Things Considered discussed “the downfall of DEI.”

Hiring anyone without the necessary credentials and placing their status as a minority above skill and experience has led to numerous cases of gross negligence and incompetence and the Biden/Harris Administration bears full responsibility.

Total Fail!

How did minorities like Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglass, both born into slavery, achieve all of their success in their lives? How about Benjamin Banneker from the 18^th century?

How did so many other minorities who grew up in the pre-civil rights era achieve the American Dream, people like journalist Ida B. Wells, Dorothy Height, Harriet Jacobs, Thurgood Marshall, Thomas Sowell, Colin Powell, just to name a few non- entertainers? The simple answer is that they all refused to be victims, which is as un-American as a meritocracy is American.  DEI is all about being a victim and guess who is the oppressor? This little white girl. She is called a racist, merely for the color of her skin.

How much money have Americans spent on DEI on the federal, state and local level? Any journalists tackling that huge investigation?

If we stay on this course, the popular saying, Get Woke, Go Broke, will be the last chapter in the former American meritocracy.

Shall we continue to watch this slow-moving, DEI train wreck in what could still be a great country? Or, can we Make America a Meritocracy Again?

While we watch DEI “leaders” blow up our country, on our watch, how can We the People say we are not Squandering Our American Inheritance?
