Americans 'select' only from whom the parties put out front of them. And we apparently are swayed by advertising rather than by carefully investigating what the parties are likely to do in office. We for the most part don't even know what our government is doing. The legislation is not understandable by those few (if any) who who read it. Our 'representatives' do not read it either--and they do not write it.

Three hundred million people could not govern themselves (a true democracy.) In 2024 (supposedly) one hundred fifty-five million voted. In 2020 (supposedly) One hundred fifty-eight million voted. In all likelihood, at least three million 2020 votes for Biden were Democrat party generated votes. We'll probably never know who actually votes. We hardly know who counts the votes. If only Republicans counted votes, who do you think would win every time? If only Democrats counted them? What we do know is that Democrats claim no fraud and Republicans claim massive fraud. Both can't be correct. Given human nature, the odds are that there is fraud.

What is the answer? I don't know, but I do have some suggestions.

1. Any legislation should be required a minimum on sixty percent approval by the Senate.

2. All legislation must have an expiration date.

3. Terms of office must be limited to four for House seats, two for senators. No one can serve more than twenty cumulative years in elective Federal office.

4. After a first term in Federal elective office, re-election must be by fifty-five percentage points.

5. All candidates for an office must be on the ballot, regardless of polling numbers.

6. If no candidate reaches fifty-five percent of the votes, the candidate having a simple majority must be approved by the body to which he is a candidate for, except for the office of the President which will be selected by the Electoral College.

7. Campaign funding must be limited to a maximum of two years salary of the office being sought.

8. Government spending must not exceed the revenue collected during the prior year.

9. Election oversight is the responsibility of each State's legislature, subject to audit by the FBI.

Amen. Is it possible to love this so much yet hate it all at the same time? Yes. Absolutely. God bless and thanks for this.
