Please Mess with the Zohran
Or a “democratic socialist” will be elected to run New York City.
Who remembers when most American socialists were working-class or poor, intellectual college students who dressed in cheap, brown or gray clothes and wore round, wire-rimmed glasses? Sure, their ideas sounded soooooooooooo good – especially for those of us who believe in the universal law of divine oneness and that we are all interconnected with the universe - but still, they were foolish because socialism defies human nature’s natural instinct to be self-serving, so we know it can not work.
But “bless their little hearts.” At least they were authentic and real and we knew the Trotsky/Snowballs of the world were doomed to find out the truth the hard way.
And then there are the socialist posers who don’t need to earn their daily bread; they are “nepo” babies born into wealth.
Young Zohran Mamdani, 33, like so many other rich “democratic socialists” who work in government with little to no work/life experience, will spend other people’s money on repeated failing ideas, like price controls and government run-grocery stores, and it won’t affect him because he comes from wealth and married wealth. Mamdani and his bride will not be shopping at the government-run grocery stores.
Furthermore, the term “democratic socialism” is a complete oxymoron, since socialism means state control and there is no real democratic process with state control. “Free stuff” (or dependency on the government) is the end-game for “democratic socialists” and the end-game for any democracy throughout history is dependency on the government. Democratic socialist = socialist = communist.
And, as usual, Zohran Mamdani proves himself to be a typical champagne “democratic socialist” who is a phony, like all the others, while his voters think he’s authentic. It seems like one of the requirements to be a “democratic socialist” is to be vapid and vacuous of any analytical thought.
Mamdani is real, all right - a real poser.
On August 9, 2025, the New York Post wrote:
NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is a silver-spoon socialist shamelessly living in a dirt cheap rent-stabilized apartment – and it’s time to move out, fed up neighbors and critics told The Post.
Mamdani, 33, who rakes in $142,000 a year as a state assemblyman and whose wealthy family includes his filmmaker mom and professor dad, has been living in a $2,300-a-month, one-bedroom pad in Astoria — galling facts that reached critical mass Saturday.
“It’s unfortunate that he supports policies that are great for the fortunate few [who] get these apartments,” said Jerry DeFazio, 33, a mechanical engineer who lived in the same building as Mamdani.
In the same article, current NY City mayor and candidate, Eric Adams said,
“This is not public service; this is self-service,” he told The Post.
“It is outrageous that … a man who presents himself as a champion of the poor would occupy an apartment intended for public housing while thousands of New Yorkers sleep in shelters or on the streets. I was born in Brownsville and understand firsthand what it means to fight for a roof over your head.”
“You grew up rich and married an even wealthier woman. You’ve had weddings on 3 continents. You own property in LGTBQIA+ murderous Uganda,” he continued.
Mamdani, 33, and Duwaji, 27, eloped in February at the City Clerk’s office but jetted last month off for a small, but lavish Dubai engagement and wedding celebration.
“Today, I am calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back to an unhoused family who need[s] it. Leaders must show moral clarity. Time to move out,” added Cuomo.
Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa told The Post: “only in New York do we have two nepo babies, Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Mamdani, arguing over an apartment while the city falls apart because of both of them.”
“Mamdani talks a big game about being for the people but plays by a different set of rules, and New Yorkers are sick of the hypocrisy,” he said.
Mamdani had previously claimed he intended to leave his cheap digs. He told the New York Editorial Board in February he found the listing on StreetEasy years ago when he was making $47,000 per year as a foreclosure prevention housing counselor.
Despite hailing from renowned, wealthy parents who sent him to the elite $66,000-a-year Bank Street School, Mamdani has recently claimed to have less than $2,000 in the bank.
His parents have plenty of cash of their own, however.
His Academy Award- and Golden Globe-nominated filmmaker mother, Mira Nair, recently sold a posh West Chelsea 2-bedroom that she had owned for more than 10 years in 2019 for $1.45 million.
His father, Mahmood Mamdani, is a chaired Columbia University professor, a position which on average reaps a salary of $308,000 a year.
Like Marx and wealthy socialists who preach about “equity” as opposed to equal opportunity, Mamdani is a phony. But now, we can also add “pussy” to his label.
Mamdani literally embodies the “pussification” of America – no man card for you!
Yet, an August 20, 2025 poll shows Mamdani leading the race with a sizable lead.
The majority of voters are likely to vote for a communist to run New York City! 24/7 Wall Street ranks New York City as having the largest GDP in America:
· GDP: $2.299 trillion, comparable to Texas ($2.69 trillion) or India ($3.55 trillion)
· Market sectors: Finance, technology, healthcare, tourism, real estate.
· Population: 23.6 million, comparable to Florida (22.6 million) or Syria (24.7 million).
· Note: The New York metropolitan area is also known as Greater New York. It is the largest metro area in the world by GDP. It also has the largest foreign-born population of any metropolitan region in the world. It includes parts of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
In the 1990s, after the Soviet Union fell and Germany reunited, being a communist was for naïve and foolish people who did not understand the history behind all of the failed socialist experiments throughout the 20th century. Even children knew communism was a total Fail.
Back then, more Americans knew the history of the utter failure that socialism/communism brought its people – and often it was from hearing the tales of woe from those who escaped communism. They knew that socialism = communism and that it never ends well for the people.
Exhibit A: Venezuela was the 4th wealthiest nation in the 1950s and then they tried socialism/communism. After Chavez won in 1998 and implemented a complete socialist state, over seven million Venezuelans fled the poverty created from Chavez’s “Bolivarian” Revolution.” It still doesn’t work in the 21st century.
Communism kills people dead. How many more examples do we need?
So how did we get here? Is this why democracies never last?
Who voted for Mamdani?
It’s understandable that many in today’s younger generations, those who have lived less than a half-a-century on this planet, believe that capitalism is the culprit of a bad life since all they have known is corporatism with too many industrial complexes, created by our big government + big corporations, and believe the foolish ideology that a “real democratic socialist” government is the answer that will increase everyone’s quality of life.
Any government allowed to grow exponentially larger will naturally become corrupt because of the simple fact that human nature is self-serving, always. And, who runs the government?
Some think that AI programmers will create a “Prometheus” or a real philosopher king like Marcus Aurelius, but that is not happening today or tomorrow or next year. (And gee, what could go wrong with AI leadership?)
Some people say, can’t fix stupid - let it burn. I get that, but America is $37 Trillion dollars in debt! We don’t have the money to bail out the highest GDP city in America like we did in 1975 when the national debt was a “mere” $533 billion dollars.
Young Nick Shirley interviewed New Yorkers recently to find out why they want to vote for Mamdani. He asked, “Mandami is a self-proclaimed Democrat-Socialist however the media & others are calling him a communist. What do you guys hope happens in NYC?” [I wonder if anyone noticed he said Mamdami instead of Mamdani?]
A comment from @sergeyisakov6487 posted:
“I came from Russia. I never will vote for communism - socialism. The people who was born in America, they just have no idea how bad going be if he will win. God bless America.. Think before you will vote for socialist mayor.”
And this article doesn’t even discuss another issue - the call to prayer heard in NYC!
God help us!

NYC is about to FAFAO
I used to think that America’s main political problem was due to us having only two political parties, then, I took a hard look at Germany and the UK, and changed my mind. I now think that the corrupting nature of the political parties themselves, at all levels, are closer to the root of the problem. Rome used to have the “Cursus Honorum”, whereby one would start out in a low level public position, and over time, rise (local mayor > congress > governor > senate > president) - which sounds real good, but apparently lost out to the power of politics.
So when I ask myself - why is HE likely to become of the world’s greatest city - I can only think it’s because a local political party, an artificial, money-driven cabal that has learned how to manipulate the electorate, and how to milk the municipal money-cow. I could be wrong. . . . We need better laws re political self-enrichment; and we need to be able to get rid of fools and/or crooks, in less than four years.
